Forecasting Directions!

Class of 2025 (current 9th grade):

  • Click on the “Course Selection Worksheet” and use this worksheet to choose the classes you’ll take for your 10th grade year.  Within the Course Selection Worksheet, there are links for each course that will take you to the course guide and videos that teachers have submitted discussing the course.  Use this information to guide your decisions!  The courses you choose should include the following:
    • 1 Credit (2 semesters) of English
    • 1 Credit (2 semesters) of Math
    • 1 Credit (2 semesters) of Science
    • 1 Credit (2 semesters) of Social Studies *including Contemporary World History, AP World History, or Online world Studies.  If taking Contemporary World History, the rest of the requirement can be met by taking World Studies (a 1-semester class) or JROTC Aviation History or Applied Psychology (both year-long classes.)

 

  • All other classes are electives.  Please use the “Graduation Pathways” and “10th-12th Elective Sheet” links to choose your other electives.  Within the 10th-12th elective sheet, there are links for each course that will take you to the course guide and videos that teachers have submitted discussing the course.  Use this information to guide your decisions!

 

  • Each student will need 6 total credits and choose at least 3 alternate classes in case the first choice is full or does not work in the schedule.  After choosing the above required classes, students choose elective classes to complete their schedule.

 

  • Here are just a few more reminders!

 

Some students will see classes that have already been entered, such as “Instructional Support” or an English or Math class.  This is so that students are taking the courses they need.  Please choose the remaining classes.

 

Class of 2024 (current 10th grade):

    • 1 Credit (2 semesters) of Civics/CWP

 

  • Review the graduation requirements table in Skyward to see what other classes you need to fulfill graduation requirements.  Discuss with a counselor during forecasting, if necessary, or contact your counselor.
