Prom 2023 Important Dates + Details
Prom Court Nominations 4/10 – 4/14
Students can submit their nomination for prom court by submitting their information on a google form.
The requirements to be on prom court include:
- Must be a senior
- Must run as a duo
- Did not win homecoming court this year
- Is attending prom
Advertisement of the QR code and link for the google form will include:
- Video Announcements
- Student email
- Social Media
- ASB Newsletter
- Flyers around campus
Tickets on sale 4/17 – 4/27
$30 with ASB and $35 without ASB
Purchased at ASB office
Juniors and Seniors only- can bring one guest each
Dance contracts are available 4/10 in ASB office
Only need a contract if they have not had one this year
Voting for Prom Court 4/17- 4/21
ASB will list the names of every couple/duo who would like to be on prom court in a google form. The senior class will vote on three couples they would like to see on the court. The top 6 duos/couples that were voted for, will be on the prom court.
ASB will reach out to each student to tell them the results and confirm each student wants to be on a court and will be at prom.
Then ASB will announce the court to the school via video announcements
Campaigning for Prom Royalty 4/24-4/28
Each couple/duo may campaign throughout the week to earn votes. Voting will happen at prom so only students attending prom can vote.
RULES FOR CAMPAIGNING:
- Cannot disturb classes or learning
- ALL signs or flyers must be approved at the ASB office and displayed in approved locations.
- All advertisements must state each candidate’s name and what they are running for. An example is “Vote Bob and Jill for your 2023 Prom Royalty”
- All advertisements must follow school guidelines and not contain inappropriate language or images.
- Each duo can decide if they want to be Prom king or queen king or king/ queen or queen, or royalty
